SPECIALTY FINISHES | The art of portraying one material with a completely different one has become incredibly popular in recent times. From Venetian Plaster to Luster Stone, there are so many new ways and techniques to create dazzling and spectacular illusions to suit virtually any decorative style. Now it is not only possible to turn raw wood into marble for columns and fireplaces; we can even bring to plain sheet rock the sumptuousness of ancient finishes. By beautifying the walls of a room with different varieties of textures, we are able to bring into that room the aura and authenticity of, say, the rusticity of Tuscany, or the elegant, sophisticated and luxurious look of marble and golden leaf.
